Tony McGinn
Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director - mcm entertainment group

Tony McGinn founded mcm entertainment in 1983 and has been its Chief Executive Officer since that time. In his 24 years as principal, Tony has built up considerable experience in radio, television and new digital media production and syndication, event management, sponsorship, advertising and marketing, and building and operating multi platform media businesses. Tony has extensive international experience and industry knowledge having run the mcm entertainment group from London from 1992 to 1997. Tony’s current focus beyond the continued successful growth of the media business is the expansion of mcm’s new digital business igloo, the global commercialisation of mcm’s new web platform innovation Camify, and new business acquisitions for the mcm entertainment group. Tony is also Chairman of the children’s cancer charity KOALA Foundation, and its principle fundraising event, The Million Dollar Lunch.

 

Michael Burgess CA B.Bus(Acct)
Chief Financial Officer

Michael Burgess has 18 years Accounting and Operations experience. He has a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and is a Chartered Accountant. After four years with Ernst & Young, he spent time working in a variety of finance roles within the funds management, sports marketing and management, manufacturing and advertising industries. In 1999 he joined mcm entertainment as both Financial Controller and General Manager to assist in the growth of the Company. Michael is responsible for the day to day operations of the Company, Michael is also responsible for the financial reporting and budgeting for the Company. Michael became an Executive Director of the Company in May 2006.

 

Simon Joyce
Chief Executive Officer – mcm media

Simon Joyce has nine years experience in sales and marketing with a university and professional background in sports marketing. Since joining mcm entertainment group in 2001, he has transformed the mcm media sales and marketing department through a focus on innovative cross platform solutions. Simon spent two years as National Sales Director, responsible for all commercial sales revenue across radio, digital, television and events, in all markets. He was appointed CEO of mcm media in 2008 and is now responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business nationally. As CEO, Simon’s vision is to drive mcm media to deliver even better results for its national broadcaster and advertiser clients, and consolidate the business’ position as a leading producer of advertiser funded national radio, online, mobile and television content.

 

Cam Moore
Chief Technology Officer

With more than ten years experience in technical management roles, Cameron started RocketDog Consultancy, where he was Director from 1996 to 2004. He managed projects for companies including NAB, City of Melbourne, Australia Post, KPMG ,Sensis and Computer Associates. From 2004 to 2007 Cameron held the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Media and Gaming Pty Ltd with the core focus of creating mobile wagering applications. In this role, Cameron was responsible for the organisation’s research and development, both strategic and technical and the ongoing development of the mobile technologies used in Media and Gaming. Clients include Sky Channel, Tabcorp, Sporting Bet, Telstra, Hutchison Telecoms and UniTab. In his current role as CTO of the mcm entertainment group, Cameron is responsible for establishing the company’s technical vision and leads all aspects of the company’s strategic technology development and direction. Cameron also manages the technical R&D team that resides within mcm technical services, a division of the mcm entertainment group.

 

Andrew Englisch
Chief Executive Officer – igloo digital pty ltd

After completing a degree in Design at Monash University, Andrew joined the digital revolution in 1991, working with Melbourne’s leading design and advertising firms, before co-founding igloo with Tony Prysten in 1994. Specialising in digital strategy and business development, Andrew leads igloo’s vision in entertainment, hospitality and media, and has a comprehensive understanding of online technologies, and how they can transform brands online.
